Jose Suarez was born in Cuba in 1957,
immigrating to the United Sates in 1961. Raised in Miami,
Suarez received his Bachelor of Architecture, Cum Laude
from the University of Miami School of Architecture in
1981.
In 1980 Suarez joined the Charles Sieger Architectural
Offices as an apprentice, and in 1987 became a
partner in what is now one of the area’s most
respected luxury high-rise residential architectural
firms, The Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership.
With over 55,000 residences designed by the firm in
the South Florida market alone, the partnership has
its extensive portfolio measured in the millions of
square feet and in the billions of dollars. Suarez
himself is most proud of having been an integral force
in reshaping the skyline of his hometown, Miami.
In 2003, Jose and his partners forayed into residential
real estate development, premiering with 3 distinctive
projects on Miami Beach: 6000 Indian Creek,
a 23-story Intracoastal front tower with an exclusive
34 residences featuring unparalleled sunrise and sunset
views, Terra Beachside Villas & Terra II,
a unique mid-rise project of 138 two and three-story
residences with access to a private beach club, and Cabana,
a private beach retreat offering 210 of the most sophisticated
and fully appointed “turn-key” studios and
top of the line amenities. As with all of Sieger
Suarez’s projects, the development company has
already made its mark, completely selling out all three
projects pre-construction.
