Sieger Suarez History

The Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership celebrated its 30-year Anniversary in 2004, as the premiere firm specializing in the diversified field of luxury high-rise residential design and development.

Owned and managed by Charles M. Sieger and Jose J. Suarez, the firm has received a multitude of awards and both peer and community recognition for its outstanding work over the decades.

The Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership evolved from the firm formerly known as Charles M. Sieger Architects, Inc., which Sieger founded in 1974. In 1987 Charles Sieger entered into a partnership with José J. Suarez, who joined the firm in 1980. In 1998 the firm officially changed its name to The Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership.

The Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership is a quiet giant in the architectural arena. The firm has been distinguished through the years with innumerable awards, and is considered to be one of the most innovative, design-forward, comprehensive, one-stop architectural firms in the Southeast United States.

Over the years, The Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership has expanded to include GS2 Corporation, a construction company, EGS2 Corporation, a landscape architectural division, and The I.M.P.A.C.T. Agency, a marketing and advertising firm, as well as its recent expansion into real estate development.

Sieger Suarez Experience

The Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership has a wide spectrum of project experience. Since its inception, the firm has designed in excess of ten billion dollars of residential real estate properties.  The firm is one of the pioneers of the “floor through/see through” unit design, one of the most successful design concepts in the high-rise residential market, as well as private elevators, both of which have raised the bar of quality and expectations in luxury high-rise residences.

With numerous high-rises designed by the firm in various phases of production, The Sieger Suarez architectural Partnership has repeatedly demonstrated its ability to produce successful and award winning projects. Distinctive buildings in Miami-Dade County alone include Pinnacle, Ocean I, II, III, IV, and Hidden Bay in Sunny Isles Beach, and Murano, Murano Grande and Portofino Tower in South Beach.  In 2005-2006, hotels designed included Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort in Sunny Isles, and St. Regis Bal Harbour.  High-rises under construction in 2005-2006 included Trump Royale and Trump Palace in Sunny Isles, ICON South Beach and Apogee in South Beach, Las Olas Riverhouse in Ft. Lauderdale, The Beach Club in Hallandale, 50 Biscayne in downtown Miami, and Cabana, 6000 Indian Creek, and Terra Beachside Villas in Miami Beach.  Several of these projects have reached 100% sellout before breaking ground.

Other areas in which the firm has been recognized include retail interiors (SPECS Music), international monuments (Sacred Grounds, Auschwitz), and religious facilities. Sieger and Suarez’s innovative interpretation in the design of Bet Breira Synagogue garnered awards, as did their work on the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (both in South Miami), which won the Award of Excellence by the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). A complete listing of awards can be viewed on the press section.

Charles Sieger and Jose Suarez have been published and featured throughout the years in numerous journals and publications on both the local and national level.  Samples may be viewed in the press section.
